weekends~
Ah.. had a great weekend this week~
Sat-- Disney on ice is wonderful and superb ! It was simply great seeing lovely arial in person! Haa~It is really amazing how Prince charming could use 1 hand to spin arial gracefully! Yup!
And all the beautiful dresses and swift moves! Woo... Glad to be there with my dear friends -eileen, shufen, manling and quixian :)
The first part of the show was the summarised versions of the movies- there was mulan, little mermaid, beauty and the beast and snow white. The characters was so cute! Esp seeing the real life 7 dwarfs skating and singing! Woo...
The second part of the show was cinderalla. Watching the show makes me feel like a kid again :)
So glad I was there!!
Anyway, there was an unexpected crowd after we left the show. Cos there was the adidas sale ( which according to shixian, he saw a guy who wore a jacket from the sale and walked out without being caught!) Oh my, anyway there was nothing much to see ;)
There was also malay food exhibition which we went in for free food samples ~ Haa.. nah I didn't take much! Manling intro me to cheese hotdog! It is really tasty! U should try it too! It's hotdog with hot melting cheese inside! mm mmm...
After that we went to buy presents for a friend :) Went home feeling drained and tired!! Must take more vitamins! U too!

Sun-- Today went to woodlands ssc opening section! It was quite fun~ I was in charge of the booth for kidsread. It is actually a free reading program for kids 4-8 years old provided the income for that home is less than $2000! I was quite suprised that there are quite a number of people whose income is lower than $2000! In my mind, I was thinking how can a family of 4/5 survive with that amount! Cos I have a friends who earns twice of that and to her it's just enough. There was even a family of 3 kids with an income of $1000 only! ANyway, I enjoyed myself today~ Know a few new people from NLB and cdac~ Tom even performed magic tricks to the kids. And it really caught their attention! They was all trying to find out how he did it. haa.. Anyway do u know that mc earn a lot of money~ Cos huimin was telling me that the mc on the stage earns enough to buy him a terrence house. Half a day session costs $500~ quite gd money right?

tonight is quite memorable :)
Went out with my sec school friends to celebrate huiling's birthday, it was a nice fuzzy feeling meeting them. Chatting and taking photos.
We went to sakae sushi bugis for dinner (although I am not fond of this resturant anymore) and had tuna sushi, soft shell crab (it taste so good!!) and chuwamushi.
Went esplanade after that to take more photos and had kueh pie ti!! Nice :)
Saw annabelle francis and sheik haikel hosting a mini jazz concert!! Coolz!
It is really nice to spend some time with "old friends", cos they always make u feel at ease!!

So I urge all of u to call up your sec school friends and meet up!! :) Yah! Good nite!

Man's Home~
Yesterday met up @ man's home to celebrate the new year (EAt, dRink and gamble .. haa)
Was happy to see them~! However when I came kewei had to leave~ Anywayz, man's mum fried chicken wings and bee hoon! Yumz.. had 2 of them!
After that we went to play to mahjong~ It was my 1st time playing ! Yup~ It seems that people around me seems to know how to play!! Anywayz, my shifu quixian taught me and I won 1 round!! Haa~! Well, but u only get to win 10-20 cents per round! But it's quite fun though~
Shixian jio us to newsroom bar that night cos it was ntu eng bash~! But everyone had plans for the night so it was kinda cancelled!
WEll, it was quite fun meeting them- chat, eat, drink, took photos with the birds of paradise and learnt to play mahjong!~

I just called yahoo customer service in US! Haa~ It was quite a good experience cos at first i was afraid i could not understand their slang- But it turned out to be alright! And in Singapore when you are calling toll free numbers, the waiting time is usually 15-30 mins! But in US I could get to them almost immediate and they were able to rectify my problem!! COOL!

And the changes was about S$0.19 a min = (15X0.19=$2.85)
Yeah! Time to "da shao chu".

Today was really a Happy experience for me!
I learnt a lot at SIAS research 1 year anniversary fair!
Anyway, I feel so lucky to be doing this temp work! Bcos this is very similar to the business I'll be doing! And it feels gd to work to learn not for $!
They are an ecommerce company that gives people company profiles and which stocks should buy and not to. Although they are a 10 man company, they are really capable! They are a very happy and united company and this is the 1st company that is without company politics! Happy to learn in this company!

A brief intro of the job I'm doing today~ I am in-charge of payment, getting people to sign up and give out free ice creams! And u will be amazed- Through these simple things, u can learn a lot about people! And it teaches me that some simple acts can be offending!! YeP!
And I am sad to say that many singaporeans are not so polite.

Eg. When I give am giving out pamphlets for free ice cream, a lot of people just showed me their five fingers without giving me a chance to speak. Well, the nicer ones are usually aunties, children, elderly and Caucasians :) They will say thank u or reject politely :)
I was so amazed that children are much more polite then fellow adult ! Yay! Keep it up future generation!
The worse kinds are those that will shout "NO" to your face -_-'" ~
Well, lesson no. 1 : Do not show people your five fingers when rejecting people but say "no" nicely! This simple action really says a lot about a person!

To sum it up, today is a great experience I will not forget! :)
I think it is great interacting with people and polite peeps rules !! U make the world a better place!! Cheers!!

Today i went c__d contact~!
It was quite fun talking to Singaporeans.
Met 4 kind of people and they were so interesting!

1. He is a promoter selling beer making machine. So interesting to see one!
But when I told dad about it, he did not believe cos he says it is illegal!
But I really tried the beer! Haa~ Tasted a bit blend. Anyway, he was really friendly and when bc asked if he was interested for a part time work he agreed!

2. A lady selling cool drink. She even imitate how Fiona Xie spoke in the cool drink advert!
She was very friendly too and kept wanting to fill our cup. As she said "bu he bai bu he". Haa~ So cute! When we complimented that she was very young (looks 45 with a 18 yr old child), she was so happy! And wanted to fill our cup again!

3.Durian seller @ carefour. Well, I was surprised by what this guy told us. Do you know good durian sellers generally come from 2 parts of Malaysia (Ma Po and one other place)! I was laughing when he said this. He even added that the best durian sellers come from a certain street of Ma Po! He looked so serious when he said this~ And of cos he came from that particular street! He even said that if we want to know more about durian we can call him and meet him up at his durian stall~ :P

4. Anlene Milk Promoter. I love this lady! She was so professional in her work. I've never met such a good promoter. She told me her change after drinking the milk, as in she is more healthy and so on. And she even told me that her customers knows how to make the yogurt using the milk! And when I said I was eager to learn, She even took my contact and told me she will find out the recipes for me! I can't believe people make their own yoghurt at home!

Today's trip really surprised me, cos my impression of us is that we are generally not-so-friendly! Well, Keep it up peeps!! BE Friendly!! :)

Roar!
Went to watch tiger cup on Sunday with poly friends! Cool~ 1st time in my whole 21 years !
Yup, I never watched a full football match b4.. haa.. Yes lurf ..
It was fun though!! Felt a bit sad for the Indonesian~ they only occupied 1/10 of the crowd!!
We had a small betting that day- whoever guessed the score correctly will get $1 X 8 peeps
I almost got it~ haa.. My prediction was Sin 2 Ind 0 .. Too bad in the midst of chaos, ind kicked the ball in~! Kewei looks a bit quiet that day.. hm..Hope he will "recover" soon. After the match we walked to you tiao ta wang! So proud of ourselves :) Anyway I learnt a lesson there! That is don't be afraid of fierce people when waiting for seats~ Hee.. Felt satisfied after filling our hungry stomachs!

Was listening to class 95 just now.. And the DJ was singing birthday song imitating clay aiken's voice. But he sounded like he was having constipation... keke..

Today is the most exciting and motivating day of my 21 years!!

I've met the most amazing people in this planet!
Have you ever meet someone who is 24 years old- FINANCIALLY FREE, FREEDOM of time, travel around the world for free, LIVING their own dream and yet able to help people to achieve their dreams. It was awesome to meet them!
And the only thing to achieve all these is to have a BIG dream!
How often have we brush away our dreams?
I mean we can only live once, why not live our dreams! Yes, it is unbelievable but true.

And another lady, cassey, who is in her 40s with 3 kids. She is my idol!
She taught me so many things, it was fascinating talking to her.
I realised a very important thing. When you live your dreams, you become younger, prettier, more confident and everyday is a special and beautiful day!
The only thing that might stop me is negative comments from people.

And not only them, cassey told me about a diamond who has only primary 2 education! WOW!
It was a great night to meet them! Thank you God! I hope this passion will be with me for the next 3 Years!! Yea!!! I love them!!!

Baccck from bangkok
Touched down 2 days ago and heard about the devasting disaster when our our guide told us!
Woo~ It's really heartbreaking to watch the news about the tsunami! Feels that we are so vunerable!! But at the same time, watching the world unite as one in helping the victims is really great!!

About the trip
I was very lucky that I was able to join my 3rd aunt's family to bangkok!!
I really love the place, maybe bcos i am a bit of shopaholic!! keke..
I guess women are inborn shoppers!! Bangkok has quite a few flea markets and HUGE shopping centers!! Went to bobae market- A wholesale market near to our hotel!
Rui & zhen bought a levis look-a-like & comfy jeans for B$230 =S$10 !!
Went to MBK- A huge 7 storey shopping center
We only manage to cover up to the 3rd storey!
There was so much to see!!! I bought a pair of white comfy shoes for jus B$199 = S$8
haa.. and quan bought a lot of cosmetics which are 5 times cheaper than what is selling at far east!! keke...
Amazed~~
Was really amazed by the pple there!! They r so skillful!! Be it food, handbags, shirt.. they are really creative and good!! 2 thumbs up for them!!
If u visit MBK, don't forget to visit their food court!!
The coconut ice cream, crepe, meat ball noodles are really yumlicious!! The guo tiao really taste different from the ones in SIngapore !! They taste really silky and chewy!! Haa...

Well, today I happened to see Kim Kiyosaki on tv!
She is my role model. She is well groomed, has a happy family and most importantly she manages her finance well!
Although since birth I do not have to worry about money, I do not have a good grisp about financial management. I guess after attending the talk, I realise the importance about making money work for you. I think many of us are willing to trade time for money. Why don't we change our mindset about the traditional way of making money and learn to make money work for you. How many of us just want a secure job ? Is there such thing as a secure job being an employee? I think all of us esp women must learn to manage your finances intelligently and learn to make money work for you and not the other way round!

Friday is Job Hunting Day!
Goal : To earn $4k for my website expenses!
Last friday, I went to 2 places to job hunt and to my surprise I had both jobs!
However, I can only choose one as the timing for both clashes!
Starting monday, I will be working as a customer service officer at some wulu building!

The website is finally making a little bit of improvement. I must really spend more time on it! Brainstorm. Well, actually I'm very excited about it!!

New Happenings!

Currently my computer is infected with a funny.exe virus from my bro's msn! And I'm trying very hard to save it! Well, this has taught me a impt lesson!! To keep my norton updated so as to keep clear from any virus!! Spent the day figuring and calling technical supports to get help! Hope it will be resolved by today!

Lunch- Had lunch @ S11 with poly gang! Miss them lots! Celebrated shufen's bday too!! Got a small cake for her and we had difficulty lighting the candle cos the fan kept blewing it off!! The flame kept going off after we sang the 1st line of bday song! It was kinda fun~ Cos we sang 4 times of the 1st line b4 we decided to give up. In the end we lit the candle just b4 she blow it off! And as expected, she got saboed by shixian!! He pressed her face to the tweety bird cake!! Hee~ She looked quite cute with the cream on her nose :P And luckily she managed to get revenge by throwing the rest of the cake to him!! Cake fight!

Supermarket- Met the same cashier as yesterday and he kinda chatted with me. And my shy character made me to gave one word answer and siam quickly. Haa~ dumb eh!

Rich Dad Poor Dad

Woo~ i've finished reading this book in 2 days :) It's really an engaging book and it gives me a new perspective about education and earning money! Robert kiyosaki (author) emphasises on making money work for u and not work for money!! Really feel that our education such teach people about financial intelligence!! Then maybe there wouldn't be so many people who are bankrupts! Ya know, every day about 100 people are bankrupt!! Well, but I really need to act on the points given on the book!! Must quit procrastinating!! :)

Eggs
Can't believe this.. I'm missing eggs .. I'm missing the taste of hard boiled eggs.. eggs with cheese omelette and mushroom!! And everywhere I go I can't seems to buy any eggs!! Stupid bird flu!!! I wanna eggs .. to bake my brownies too !!
Sakae
Today met up with mer to sakae for buffet ! The service was not really gd at harbour front but that saved us th 10% service charge! Hee.. Well, we ate about 18 plates of food! The best was the clam sushi.. yum! The soft shell crab was gd too.. crispy on the outside and soft on the inside!! Drooling eh ?? Well.. he left after that for his meeting and my favourite chatting partner came to meet me soon after that! :) Was really happy that Juan agreed to meet up dispite my short notice :) Bought a pink scrungee which we both agreed was nice! I companied her to the noodle hut for dinner! The food there failed.. The dishes were similar to crystal jade but the taste was far off from them!! So people Don't waste ur $ there !! opps .. hee ..

Class Gathering..
Well yesterday was Jia juan's bdae celebration!! I was soo happy to meet my JC class mates! I stayed over with JJ last night while Xueling, Meiting and laiping came together..MT was much her normal bubbly self again when I saw her yesterday.. She really went through a lot last year!! I'm so glad for her!! *YAY* And Felix.. he had this oakley shades on his head(like how u would put your hairband) hehe .. trying to be cool rite ?? hee.. but it was nice though *:) Huifong and Laiping was busy talking about the YEP ( youth expedition program) they would be going!! They are so lucky!!! Well, I really really wanna go man!! She will be going India and he will be going tibet!! Coolz rite ??? I lurve travelling!! Cos you get to experience things that you would never imagined!!
Well, we promised to meet up again soon !! And I promised to myself to GAIN WEIGHT before meeting up with them!! Must really persevere!!

Ncc...
Today I went ncc as madam chew wanted to talk to me about my decision of quitting the course. She is really one of the best person I ever met. She spoke to me like a mother to a daughter. She asked me a critical qns which is if I had not failed the module would I have carried on. And I answered yes. This got me thinking about the question again. However, I do have the urge for going to uni and being an entrepreneur. My dream. I want to have financial freedom and time freedom. However after chatting with her I felt slightly guilty bcos she even said that I could ask her out to chat if I want. She is someone whom people will listen to and it happen that her daughter was in my situation too. But I am afraid that I will regret if I do not follow my dream path.

Far East...
Met up with mer and his frens for a lunch. They chatted mostly about uni. I was mainly listening to them. They are really hardworking people !

Flea market!!
Yesterday I went to Jurong west to sell my 2nd hand clothes at the flea market!! Woo .. It was a coolz experience!! My cousin quan was there selling her handmade earrings, 50 cent toy bears and her handmade lip gloss!! She doing manicure for people too!! Since most customers are aunties so they were really good at bargining! However I sold more than half of my clothes !! *Yay* And I made around $60 plus .. Was quite happy!!
Today I went to call all the cc in Singapore to find out if there are other flea market. However, I was disappointed! Out of the 50 calls I made only 4 cc organise flea market! Well , at least it's better then none!
So Friends if u have 2nd hand wearable clothes u can pass to me to sell them!! But must be in good condition!!

WOO HOO!

Well, I have not been updating my blog for sometime that is because I was busy reading the books I borrowed from toa payoh library!
It is really a cool place! Not that I am a bookworm.. I'm too lazee to be one.. hee
Anyway, recently I am into creating websites!!
I h0pe to publish one by end of sept!! yeah ..
Book 1: Sams teach yourself HTML and XHTML (It's really informative and ez to understand!!) :)
Book 2: Crafters Internet Handbook ( This book gives too little information and mostly are references to other pple's website)
Book 3: A chinese dessert recipe book (The pics on the book are too tempting to resist)*Drooling*
Book 4: eBusiness A beginner's guide (erm .. not read yet .. hee)
Well, I'm really thinking of quiting the course .. haizz ..

Dear Diary ..
I'll feeling very aimless now, I really hate going to school now..
It's really very sucky! This is the first this I am feeling this way, I feel so alone now in school!! I wanna quit school!!!!
I hate MR CHIN!!! Well, I have to blame myself partially..
I do not feel any bond in class anymore ..
Yr 1 was much much better .. but now since I've to retake the course ..It sux!!
I'm not happy self anymore.. School is scaring me !!
I'm becoming so quiet nowaday.. depressed!

This is the first day of school!
I felt really relieved to meet all my friends..

Went to collect my salary!!
YeAH !! I've earned $XXX during the 10 days at suntec city selling educational cd rom,
It was tiring during the few days but it was all worth it cos I used the money to pay for my Thailand trip!! hehe ..

Went RC to find out more about the opening a tuition class
Since I've more time now, I plan to open a tuition class for Primary sch kids!
However the person-in-charge require me to go to PA association for approval first~ diaoz ..
Plan to call to ask tml morning!! : )
Hope they will allow me to teach !! please ....
